1. How long does it typically take before a project is operational (i.e. producing power that end-user is billed for) after signing PPA (Power Purchase Agreement).

 

4 to 8 months.

 

2. What size projects are the Oaktown Group in search of?

 

500 Kilowatts and larger.

 

3. How involved does the end-user have to be in permitting, land-use, engineering, feasibility/environmental impact studies?

 

The Oaktown Group and partners will be responsible for the majority of logistical requirements. In most cases the end user will have minimal obligations.

 

4.What are the options for contract length?

 

15, 20 or 25 year terms.

 

5.What are the lock-in energy price models (i.e. set price, tiered price, adjustable %, caps, other)?

 

The rate will be set at a fixed rate below historical utility increases. This will be determined on a project basis because rates vary by location. The estimated increase each year will be 2% to 3% as compared to the historically increases of 5% to 7 % from your utility company.

 

6. How much can the end-user expect to have their energy cost reduced by (i.e. 5, 10, and/or 15%)?

 

Oaktown Group and partner's systems can reduce energy rates up to 50%.

 

7. What if the energy produced does not meet the demand for the end-user?

 

The system will be connected to the local electrical grid. When surplus energy is produced it will be fed into the electric grid (particularly in summer months). When the end-user’s system doesn’t generate enough energy the end-user will use energy from the local energy grid.

 

8. What are the billing protocols (i.e. monthly, quarterly, yearly invoice)?

 

Invoices will arrive monthly.

 

9. Is the energy usage available in real-time for the end-user?

 

Yes.

 

10. How are natural disasters or other adverse events handled (i.e. equipment is damaged)?

 

The project will have liability insurance. This cost will be incurred by Oaktown Group and partners.

 

11. Are there options for complete off-grid energy production with a backup source(s) or are all projects utility-tied?

 

In general the projects will be connected to the local electric grid.

 

12. Who is responsible for maintenance and what does a typical maintenance schedule consist of?

 

Oaktown Group and partners will be responsible for Operations and Maintenance. The schedule will consist of routine maintenance performed quarterly throughout the duration of the contract.

 

13. Are there other costs besides the energy price charged to end-users?

 

No.

 

14. What is the liability protection of the end-user?

 

The ownership risks associated with the project will be assigned to Oaktown Group and partners.

 

15. What are the minimum system performance standards and are they guaranteed to the end-user?

 

The minimum performance standards will be outlined in the Power Purchase Agreement. The amount of energy produced and will be different for every project. They will be guaranteed to the end user.

 

16. After contract expiration, what are the options (i.e. remove equipment, purchase equipment, and/or renew the contract)?

 

The system host will have the option to purchase the equipment after the expiration of the contract.
